How it works

Raast is the State Bank of Pakistan's instant payment system. A Raast QR holds your IBAN, so the customer's app opens a payment to your account with your details already filled in. They confirm with their PIN, and the money arrives in seconds, with no charge to either of you.

Without an amount, you get a QR to print once and keep at the counter. The customer types in the amount.

With an amount, the QR is for one payment: the amount is already filled in, so nobody types the wrong number. It stops working at the end of tomorrow.

The QR is made on your own phone or computer. Your IBAN is never sent to us or anyone else. Before you print, scan it once with your own bank app to check that your name appears.
