Terms of service

These terms are between you, the business that signs up, and BlackWell Enterprises (“BlackWell”, “we”). We’ve kept them as short and plain as we can. By creating a BlackWell account or using one of our products, you agree to them.

Your account

• The person who creates a BlackWell account is its owner and is responsible for everything done with it, including by the managers they invite and the staff who sign in with a PIN.
• Keep your password and your devices safe. If you think someone else has got in, tell us straight away.
• You must give us a real name and phone number, and you must have the right to run the business you sign up.

The free trial and paying

• Every new business gets a free trial of 7 days. You don’t pay anything to start.
• After the trial, each product is charged monthly in advance at the price shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Pakistani rupees.
• You pay by Raast or bank transfer and give us the transaction ID. A payment counts once we have received it.
• If a payment is late, you get 3 days of grace with everything working. After that your business becomes read-only: you can see and download all your records, but you can’t add new sales. After 30 days unpaid, your devices stop working until you pay, though the owner can still sign in, download everything and pay.
• We may change our prices. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you.

Referrals

Each business gets a referral code. When a business you referred is confirmed as a genuine, separate business that uses the product, you get a free month. We decide whether a referral qualifies, and we may cancel free months gained through fake or duplicate businesses.

Your data

Your records belong to you. We store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. We never delete your business records because you stopped paying, and you can download them at any time.

Fair use

Don’t use BlackWell to break the law, to store anything you don’t have the right to store, or to try to get into another business’s data or our systems. Don’t copy, resell or take apart the software. We may suspend an account that does any of these things.

Our promise and its limits

We work hard to keep BlackWell running and your data safe, and we back it up every day. But software can fail, and the internet can go down. We provide BlackWell “as it is”, and as far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost profits or indirect losses. If we are found liable for anything, the most we will owe is what you paid us in the three months before the problem.

Ending

You can stop using BlackWell whenever you like by not paying for the next month. We may end the service for a business that breaks these terms, after telling you why. Either way, you can still download your records.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in your BlackWell account before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad decide any dispute.
