We build software in the shop, not in a meeting room.
BlackWell Enterprises is a Pakistani software company. We make management software for local businesses, one industry at a time.

It started in a salon.
Our first product began at MODCUTS, a three-chair salon in Mumtaz City, Islamabad. Its owner kept the day's sales in a register, worked out each barber's commission with a calculator at closing time, and never quite knew why the drawer was a few hundred rupees short.
We tried the big international systems first. They were built for other countries: priced in dollars, full of settings, and lost the moment the internet dropped. So we built our own, at the counter, next to the barbers, changing it every evening based on what went wrong that day.
MODCUTS has run on BlackWell Salon every day since September 2026. Now it's open to every salon in Pakistan.
How we work
The businesses we build for don't have an IT department. The software has to work for the person who's busy serving a customer.
One industry at a time
Each product is made for one kind of business and looks and works the way that trade does. A salon app should feel like a salon, not like accounting software.
We sit where the work happens
Before we build anything, we spend days in the shop. Every screen is tested on a real, busy day before anyone else sees it.
Made for here
Urdu and English, rupee prices, Raast, JazzCash and Easypaisa, and an app that keeps working through load-shedding.
Fair with your data
Your records are yours. We never sell them, never delete them, and you can download everything whenever you want.
Is your business still on paper?
Tell us how your day runs. We're choosing our next industry, and we'd like to hear from you.
